Weak verses the Strong Golf Grip

Lets take a look at the distinction between a weak golf grip as opposed to the strong golf grip. Each has it’s advantages and handicaps when discovering how to control the ball properly.

As a new golfer, you will want to experiment with your golf grip as as your golf swing evolves. The kind of grip you employ will influence the path your golf ball takes more than you can imagine. Even as a seasoned player, you should try to test out other golf grips to atain the kind of golf shot you desire.

A weaker golf grip,in my instance, was the adjustment I needed to make that produced the altitude and control I was looking for. But along with getting the ball higher, it can produce a fade, left to right ball flight. Many have come to call this the “Banana Ball”. Although, used with control, this shot can create extremely coveted affects on the golf course.

To attain a weaker golf grip just grip your golf club with your usual grip, the pointer finger and thumb of both hands generally form V’s, and these V’s usually point at your right shoulder”. Keeping your left hand fixed, spin your right hand over the club and left hand “counterclockwise”. The V of your right hand will be aimed at the left shoulder. The outcome will be a fade, or left to right flight path of the ball.

Practice with this grip until you discover how much rotation on your right hand that produces the degree of draw you’re looking for.

A stronger golf grip could assist most players to cure a persisting golf slice.. Try turning your right hand around the club clockwise to promote a right to left ball flight. Those of you with a slice, test this alternate grip and see if it holds the key you have been searching for. Those of you with a good golf shot playing around with a stronger golf grip can generate a draw or hook.

The result your golf grip has on the direction your golf ball fly’s can be precisely the small adjustment to your swing you have been looking for. It takes trying out the various golf grips to experience what results your altered grip will produce. But the facts are that for the most part a small change in your golf grip can really go along way to assist you in producing the appropriate golf shot that we all strive for. So manipulate your golf grip and see what results you can reach, you may be amazed as too the amount of change you can attain by switching between a strong or weak grip.
